Artist Statement
"My artistic work wanders between photography, video art and dance video.
I am inspired by everything that moves me inside. I am moved by fear, by taboos, by things that we deny that are there.
In photography, I am interested in sequence, the diptych and triptych. I don’t stick to only one image. Maybe this is because my first motivation was always audio-visual. I am interested in telling stories through a static sequence, from the micro to the macro.
Colors, lights, music, dance, sensations, smells, memories and fetishes are strong references in my work. Memory is the connecting thread and the repository of my own and other people’s stories in my pictures and in my videos."
